Join us for an exclusive tour of the Bismarck Water Treatment Plant and Marathon Petroleum sponsored by HDR. Complimentary transportation and lunch are included with your registration. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM at the Bismarck Event Center. The bus will depart promptly at 8:15 AM and return around 1:00 PM. Participants earn 2 Continuing Education Credits (CECs).
Tour Highlights:
Bismarck Water Treatment Plant: Attendees will experience a behind-the-scenes look at how Bismarck processes and delivers clean, safe water to the community. This comprehensive 2-hour guided tour offers an in-depth view of the facility's water treatment steps, engineering infrastructure, and daily operations.
Marathon Petroleum: This portion of the tour will begin in the classroom with a technical presentation accompanied by a catered box lunch. During this session, operations experts will be on hand to answer your questions about the facility's processes. Following lunch, attendees will take a guided drive through the refinery to highlight key refining operations as well as major components of the water and wastewater treatment systems.
