WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Rural Water Association (NRWA), a non-profit organization representing over 31,000 small and rural water and wastewater utilities in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, announced its strong support today for the nomination of Jessica Kramer as EPA Assistant Administrator for Water.
“Jessica Kramer is exactly the kind of leader the Office of Water needs right now- principled, pragmatic, and deeply informed,” said NRWA Chief Executive Officer Matthew Holmes. “As she noted in her nomination hearing this morning, she’s worked alongside water operators to craft feasible, affordable regulations that follow the law, while identifying flexibilities to address the operational challenges small water utilities face every day.”
